Scrapbooking, Quilting, and Crafting Retreats

Whether you are a bunch of scrapbookers, quilters, crafters, or a group of girlfriends just looking to spend some time together, we have the perfect accommodations for you in our deluxe cabins Willow , Tamarack and Poplar, and in our deluxe 3br cabin Pine Beach.  Because of their unique layout, these units can go from two living rooms to one living room and one work room with just a little work on our part before you get here.  We want your stay to be fun and productive, so we've got the amenities you need all under one roof!  Our check-in and check-out times are greatly extended for crafters, as well,  1pm check-in and 5pm check-out, so you have more time to work!

Please note:  Willow, Tamarack, and Pine Beach can accommodate 8 crafters on eight 6ft tables in the lower workroom, while Poplar can only hold 6 people on three 8ft tables.

Do we have what you want?

Scrapbookers:  We have all sorts of tools, a 12X12 paper cutter, computer, printer, a  Cricut Expression, several Cricut cartridges, a large Xyron sticker machine, a sewing machine, stamps, punches, and  idea books and magazines.

Quilters:  We have lots of outlets, an extra sewing machine, irons, ironing boards and lots of table space.
All:  Free wireless internet, 2 satellite TVs and DVD players, whirlpool tub, in-floor heat in the workroom (no cold tootsies!), and 2 gas fireplaces

Need supplies?  We have a few last minute items like adhesive, cutter blades, Cricut mats and blades, some embellishments, and lots of patterned paper and cardstock for purchase in our store.  Plus, we've got great coffee, cappuccinos, and lattes! Even though we're fairly remote, there is one store within five minutes of here (with limited hours, however) that carries great, name-brand scrapbooking supplies and 3 scrapbooking stores within 25 minutes of the resort (The Archive, Memories for the Making, and Staples Dollar Store).  There are two great quilting stores (Quiltz and Country Fabrics) in Brainerd, 30 minutes away, and there is a great knitting store also 30 minutes away in Baxter.

Have a smaller group?  Cabin 11 (shown above here) is perfect for crafting groups of 4 or less or non-crafters of 8 or less.  While not as large as the other four cabins, and only open May 1-November 20th, Cabin 11 still has a small whirlpool tub, satellite TV and DVD player, a full kitchen with dishwasher, and is connected to the store so you don't have to go outside to get that adhesive you ran out of or that cool paper you saw!  We still provide extra tables, but no extra scrapbooking equipment is available for this unit.  The rate is $98/night (2009 rates).
